Meet Tracy, Robert and Solveig

Robert and I met and fell in love in 2013 and it was our mutual love of the water and dreams of sailing off on adventures that "sealed the deal" and had us decide get married in 2016.

Since that time, we've been working towards our dream and now, here in 2020, in the middle of a pandemic, we finally get to live it!  It's not exactly as we planned but isn't that what an adventure is all about?

Our boat, a 1986 Ericson 35.5 Mark III, is named after my grandmother and has been in the family since 1988. She was sailed by my dad and then my uncle, mostly on day or weekend sails on the Chesapeake Bay, in Md.  While my children and I enjoyed lots of fun sailing with my parents in the 80s and 90s, the trips were not as frequent as I would like given we lived in NC.   We got to take possession of her in 2017 and have been diligently transforming her from a weekend vessel to a lean, mean cruising machine ever since!

We hope you will share in our excitement of all the adventures to come!   Tracy and Robert
